Um, no it won't. That misshapen woolie will have 'things' attached to it but it will still be clear why it was in the charity shop to being with.
1. It isn't easy to find great vintage items, There are buyers who trawl the charity shops in good areas to sell on in trendy shops.
2. We don't all want secondhand. There, I've said it. It's good to be green but it's also good to be the first person to own something whether it's a cardi, teapot, belt or bed linen.
3. However easy they say the embellishments are to do yourself I'll warn you now not to believe a word they say.
It's hard to make upcycled items not look like the outcome of a rainy day kid's project. I'll admit I like the look of this Bicycle Inner Tube Wallet but was also pleased to see someone else is making and selling them so I don't have to try the project to appreciate the idea. While the occasional craft project is enjoyable I'm sure I'm more suited to keeping the sellers on Etsy in business. How about you?
